What do we do?
Look, we’re gonna be real with you. We print things and we ship things and both of those things are pretty bad for the environment. But this is also real: Cartoonely is a company committed to producing sustainable art, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and offsetting any negative impact on Mother Nature. So, this page is here to answer the question “what is sustainable art” to us.
We print locally to reduce carbon emissions
With shipping partners in more than 50 countries, we are able to print and produce locally. That means that if you buy from Spain, we are producing and shipping sustainable art in Spain (or from the closest partner to you). This reduces delivery times, transport distances and carbon emissions by like, a lot.
We print on demand to eliminate overproduction
Everything on our site is made-to-order. That means we don’t have some warehouse somewhere with stock collecting dust, only to end up in landfills. Your sustainable art is printed on demand and overproduction is eliminated. Smarter and greener, baby.
Our paper is FSC certified
A Forest Stewardship Council™(FSC) certification ensures that the timber used for paper has come from a forest which has been certified as being managed according to the correct social, economic and environmental standards and sustainable art practices.
We are a fully remote team
Cartoonely is a 100% digital company and our artists work from where they want in the world. Since the very beginning, we have chosen to ditch the office concept to help reduce carbon dioxide emissions generated from certain modes of transportation, helping sustainability in the art and design world.
We believe in the longevity of products
It’s important to us that the sustainable art we produce is not thrown away a few weeks later. That's why quality control is done to make sure that the products are built to last and will bring you joy for years to come.
More Trees, More Sustainability
Even all that didn’t feel like enough to us. We needed more sustainable art ideas! Because we believe in good deeds rather than long speeches. So Cartoonely now works closely with the Tree-Nation, an association for reforestation which helps companies like ours offset their CO2 emissions.
